Summary of thesis:

This study collaboratively developed design principles assisting early childhood teachers implementing mindset theory to lay strong foundations for children’s learning through life. Qualitative and quantitative tools were used in a design based study conducted from an educator’s perspective rather than using a psychological lens. This unique study provides findings to further develop early childhood teacher’s knowledge and practice of mindset theory in early childhood contexts and highlights the importance of mindset theory to inform strategic direction and policy development.
