Summary of thesis:

This is a creative Phd which used the methodology of a/r/tography to investigate how the process of mounting an ensemble production of a Nyoongar play text impacts on secondary pre-service drama teacher's skills and confidence to embed Indigenous perspectives into their praxis, as they are required to do by the Western Australian curriculum. The project was guided by interviews with leading Aboriginal theatre makers as well as collaboration with a Nyoongar community artist.
