Summary of thesis:

The purpose of this social constructivist study is to identify the contribution by university appointed supervisors to the classroom readiness of graduating preservice teachers undertaking professional experience. Interviews and focus groups will lead to the development of a model of supervision and the findings of this research can be used to inform program design as well as supervisor training and role definition.
